summer Internship Program
EMBREY’s Summer Internship Program is the cornerstone of our commitment to mentoring future leaders in real estate. We offer opportunities to juniors and seniors in undergraduate programs and graduate students at any level. Our program focuses on recruiting first-generation college students, females and those who are passionate about making a difference in the multifamily real estate industry.
Through a competitive, merit-based selection process where only one out of 100 applications is accepted, EMBREY interns become fully immersed in our culture, working alongside our division teams on projects providing real-world applications in the areas of Investments, Development, Construction, EMBREY Management Services and Corporate Services.
For 10 weeks, our interns participate in meaningful projects and gain insights that go beyond the classroom. Throughout the summer, they are immersed in various aspects of our business and receive personalized mentorship, engage in professional development workshops and contribute to projects and initiatives that have a lasting impact on our company and the communities we serve.

Educational Partnerships
EMBREY aims to provide students and young professionals with unparalleled opportunities to grow, learn and develop their careers within a supportive and innovative environment.
Beyond our Summer Internship Program, we’ve built a strong educational partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio.
In 2015, company founder Walter Embrey, Jr. pledged $1 million to UTSA’s EMBREY Real Estate Finance and Development program and became the first chair of the Founder’s Council, which connects industry leaders with educational initiatives. In 2022, EMBREY donated $100,000 to support scholarships for the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Scholars program. In addition to receiving an academic scholarship, students selected for the program are paired with a mentor, attend CREW national conferences and board meetings, and serve on committees that help advance their professional development.
